We are first and foremost hunting dog trainers. Watching a team of well mannered and well trained dogs is a big part of the shooting preserve experience. Whether it is a family outing or a business entertainment outing, at least half of the fun is watching the dogs work. Our methods of positive rienforcement training brings out the best in the dogs.

They work to gain praise not to avoid punishment. This is obvious once you see how much fun the dog's are having providing you with a quality shoot. I chose the 'Companion Gun Dog' market many years ago simply because this is the largest group seeking training help. The companion dog is a family house pet and a friend as well as a hunting partner.

You treat your dog like part of the family because it is. And because of this you will not allow harsh training methods designed to eliminate sensitive dogs or dogs of lower drive in competitive events. You want us to bring out the best in your dog using the kindest methods. On the first visit, after dropping your dog off to us for training, you will be suprised at how much your dog loves us.

We gain their trust and capitalize on their desire to please the pack leader and gain praise. All this while training you on how to relate with your dog in the field and how to handle them effectivly. It takes plenty of birds and plenty of field time to make a good bird dog. No one provides this they way we do. You will see a difference.

And you will realize you made the right choice, with Wing Shooters.

Chuck Linblade, Operations Manager

Chuck has worked with Charlie since he was a little boy and trained his first dog when he was 10. Over the last eight years he has tested and passed customer dogs in NAVHDA events at all levels including Utility. He has hunted with Charlie across the US and Canada for both upland birds and waterfowl. Chuck has more experience training than most of the people calling themselves professional trainers today.
