Question: I purchased a started dog for a very reasonable price, basically the price of a pup. The seller had told me that the previous owner had problems with the dog and one of his grandchildren. The dog was great for the first two months, then began to become aggressive with my wife and had even bitten her. What should I do and do I have an recourse with the seller?

Answer: I usually get in trouble when I give my opinion on biters, but her goes anyway. My rule of thumb is once might be an accident, and twice is unforgivable. The dog should be put down. I give new owners of started dogs two weeks to decide if the dog is right for them. After that, there is no refund. The seller can't be responsible for what happens two months after the purchase.
