Meet Charlie Linblade & Team

Charlie Linblade has dedicated over 40 years to gun dog training and hunting. As the pioneer of Michigan Wing Shooter, his passion and expertise have transformed our preserve into a top hunting destination. Aside from being a seasoned hunter, Charlie is a skilled dog trainer, breeder, and former columnist for Woods-N-Waters News. His use of positive reinforcement training techniques has set a gold standard in the industry.

Joining Charlie is his son, Chuck Linblade, who serves as the operations manager at Michigan Wing Shooter. Having trained his first dog at the age of ten, Chuck has decades of experience and has hunted across the US and Canada. His expertise in training and testing dogs in NAVHDA events complements Charlie’s extensive knowledge, creating a formidable team that ensures every hunting trip at the Michigan Game Bird Preserve is exceptional.
