Meet Our Expert Team

Charlie Linblade has dedicated over four decades to the field of gun dog training and hunting. As the owner and operator of Michigan Wing Shooter, his expertise and passion have been pivotal in shaping the Michigan Game Bird Preserve into a top-tier hunting destination. Charlie is also a retired AKC Hunt Test Judge and a former Dog Training Columnist for Woods-N-Waters News, with hundreds of articles over a 20-year span. His approach to positive reinforcement training ensures that our dogs are not only effective hunters but also joyous companions.

Charlie's son, Chuck Linblade, serves as the operations manager at Michigan Wing Shooter. Involved in the family business from a young age, Chuck trained his first dog at ten and has since amassed over 20 years of experience. Together, father and son bring unparalleled expertise to the Michigan Game Bird Preserve, ensuring that every visitor enjoys a successful and memorable hunting experience.
