About Charlie Linblade and Family

Charlie Linblade is a name synonymous with excellence in the field of gun dog training and hunting in the United States. With over 40 years of experience as a gun dog trainer and more than 35 years as a wing shooting preserve operator, Charlie's expertise is unmatched. He is a devoted breeder of English Setters and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and an avid waterfowler and upland bird hunter both in the U.S. and Canada.

His extensive involvement in various hunting associations, including the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA), the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC), and the National Rifle Association (NRA), underscores his dedication to the sport. Additionally, Charlie's significant contributions as a Dog Training Columnist for Woods-N-Waters News, where he penned hundreds of articles over two decades, highlight his commitment to educating and informing the hunting community.

Charlie is often joined by his son, Chuck Linblade, who serves as the Operations Manager at Michigan Wing Shooter. Training his first dog at the tender age of ten, Chuck has grown to become an accomplished hunter and dog trainer.
