Charlie is a life member of the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA), the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC), and the National Rifle Association (NRA). He is also a member of the Hunting Retriever Club (HRC), the Michigan Hunting Dog Federation Century Club, and Ducks Unlimited (DU).

Charlie's son, Chuck Linblade, serves as the operations manager at Michigan Wing Shooter. Chuck has been a part of the family business from a young age, training his first dog at the age of ten. Over the past twenty years, he has gained significant expertise, hunting across the US and Canada, and professionally testing dogs in NAVHDA events.
