Charlie is a life member of several prestigious organizations, including the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA), the Michigan United Conservation Clubs (MUCC), and the National Rifle Association (NRA). His role extends beyond the field, having been a dog training columnist for Woods-N-Waters News for 20 years, and appearing on numerous TV shows such as Michigan Out of Doors and The American Bird Hunter.

Joining Charlie is his son, Chuck Linblade, who grew up immersed in the world of hunting and dog training.
